Pep Band, Music Merch, & New York!

The following information was sent out by email on Tuesday Sept 8 to all band students and families:

Hello VAHS Band Students and Families,

Congrats to everyone on a great first week of school!  Here are some important updates and reminders:

VAHS Music Merch: Orders close tonight at midnight!
Today is your LAST CHANCE to order VAHS music department apparel on our online merch store!  Here's the link.

New York Trip: Registration deadline is Tues 9/15
For Band students in grades 10-12, registration for the 2027 New York trip is open through Tues 9/15.  We already have well over 100 students and chaperones signed up from Band/Choir/Orchestra, and we'd love to have as many participants as possible join us for this once-in-a-lifetime travel opportunity!  This is the link to register, and more information is available on the vahsmusic.org website.

First Pep Band performance a success!
Despite the heat and humidity, the Pep Band did a great job at our first football game of the season!  We had MANY opportunities to play the fight song in our 49-12 victory over Madison West.  Our next pep band performance is Friday 9/18.  All band students are welcome to participate in pep band performances, even if you weren't able to be at the first game.  We'd love to see you there!
